We are a family of 5 that was looking for a peaceful, short getaway. Our first daughter is leaving for college in August and our times together with all 5 of us, are few and far in between. It was the perfect last getaway before starting back up with school in the fall!

Great place to stay next to some of the trail entrances but still outside the park so don’t need to pay for parking. In the summer humidity be sure to turn on the dry setting on the AC since the fire alarm went off on us. Pretty close to the other cabins near us but was fine. Would stay again!

Loved our stay - perfect for hiking in Turkey Run State Park - trails are accessible within short walking distance from cabin - didn’t have to interact much with host because everything was clearly communicated and as promised - unfortunately there was a heat wave during our stay so didn’t get to enjoy the fire pit, bbq or picnic table as much as we would’ve liked but just gives us another reason to go back! Would recommend this cabin to family and friends if that says anything about it 😊 (note - I agree with previous reviews on spotty cell service in some areas so download offline map just in case!)

Beautiful, newly renovated cabin in very close proximity to Turkey Run State Park and sugar creek canoes & kayaking! It was clean, comfortable, and felt like a very safe area. 10/10!

Cute little cabin community at the edge of turkey run. There are 5 cabins next to each other, you have privacy but not tons. It is within walking distance of Turkey Run Trails making it the perfect site to stay for a couple days. It is fully stocked (bring your spices) and the fire pit is a nice end to a long hiking day.

We had such a great stay at the Narrows cabin! The place was spotless, spacious, and very easy to find. Communication with the host was smooth and helpful from start to finish, and we really appreciated the local recommendations they shared.
The beds were super comfortable, and the cabin had everything we needed. The kitchen was especially well stocked with basics like salt, pepper, olive oil, and even a few bottles of water—those little touches made a big difference. The bathroom was large and clean, with plenty of towels and even a hair dryer, which was a nice bonus.
One of the best parts is the location—Turkey Run State Park is right across the road, and you can easily access hiking trails without having to drive. The surrounding cabins were quiet, and the neighbors we met were all very friendly. As a highlight, we even saw deer during our stay!
Overall, a relaxing, comfortable, and well-equipped place—we’d definitely come back.

We booked this cabin for a last minute trip to Turkey Run. We loved how close it was to the state park and the Narrow Bridge and trails right down the road.
The cabin was great, just like the pictures and the host was very responsive when I had a question. The provided fire wood was an amazing bonus!
Definitely staying again when we plan another trip.

Our time at The Narrows Cabins #2966 was perfect our family, and what we wanted to experience at Turkey Run and Shades State Parks. The cabin was very close to trail #4 in Turkey Run, but had its own area with a few surrounding cabins just outside the park. Nate was very responsive, had clear instructions throughout our stay, and we would recommend others to visit - we hope to be back, too!

Cute cabin in beautiful surroundings! Had everything we needed to make it a great stay exploring Turkey Run State Park. It was right next door! We drove to entrance and also walked to the edge of the park down the road. Campfires were both nights we were there were peaceful. Loved our stay!!!

I highly recommend staying at Nate's place. The cabins are located directly on/next to Turkey Run State Park. You can get to Trail 4 by walking across the street and you have direct access to the park. It is literally an amazing location - 100% recommend. The only issue with the Airbnb was the shower water - there must be a rusty pipe or something along those lines because the water spelt like rust. Just remember that if you take a shower - you will have a bit of a rust scent on you for a few days after. That is the only issue - other than that, the cabin is beautiful and in an amazing location. Nate was a great host and super helpful.
