The Lodge at The Narrows Cabins

The Lodge was perfect for our family reunion. Turkey Run is just around the corner for daytime adventures and the house accommodated our group for eating together and catching up.

Our family of eight adults and two dogs had a great stay at The Lodge this past week. The house offered so much – a well-stocked kitchen and coffee bar, large dining table, lots of seating in the living room, a great screened in porch (we had a memorable evening of making pizzas in the pizza oven), a fun game room with a kitchenette, and an extensive outdoor entertainment area. The bedrooms were roomy and the baths were nice. The laundry area was an added bonus. Only two minor suggestions - the bedroom and bath doors could use adjusting so they open and close better (early risers couldn’t avoid being noisy) and it would be a nice touch to include in the pizza manual a basic recipe and tips on cooking the pizza (temp setting, etc.) We would definitely choose The Lodge again!

This place was a phenomenal booking for a weekend getaway for friends. It absolutely matched the photos, and the kitchen was extremely well stocked and was very clearly labelled so things could be found easily. We had so much fun using the hot tub, the game room, and the bonfire pit. There was more than enough space that everyone had different places to spread out throughout the day, from the screened in porch in the morning, to the living room and kitchen area, and the bedrooms were large and comfortable. We were all talking about coming back we liked the place so much!

The Narrows is a great home in a exceptional location, across the street from Turkey Run State Park. The house was as expected, great. It had everything you need for your trip. Clean and comfortable, we felt at home the second we walked in. Nate & Emily responded quickly to all of our communications, before and during our visit. We had a great long weekend!! Thanks. Mike

The house was the perfect location, you can cross the street, walk down the road to the covered bridge and get instant access to the trails at Turkey Run. Everything you could ever need was in the kitchen and all the cabinets were labeled, making it super easy to navigate. Having laundry available on site was also fantastic. The upstairs in the house was very warm even with the A/C running - We used the fans located in the closets which helped some, but the temperature difference was very noticeable between floors. Just a heads up - We did see a raccoon a few times that clearly was not afraid of humans, she came right up to us while sitting around the fire, unbothered by our shouting to get away. The house is beautiful, the location is amazing, I would absolutely stay here again! If you have a large group, you cannot beat this house! 10/10

Our family really enjoyed our stay and we loved the beautiful wooded setting. The house had all we needed for our large family to be comfortable. Friendly hosts!

I LOVED this place for a trip before college graduation. It was amazing we all had a good time. Comfortably slept and fit 12 people. Hiking was shockingly beautiful and right across the street to a path!! Could not have gone better. House was clean, beds were comfy, and felt like I was at home. If you want to make your own pizza like we did the oven was amazing to do so. Not a lot around, definitely felt like we were "glamping."

Our family of 8 plus 2 children loved the location, layout, and the roomy spaces where we did not feel cramped. Will definitely refer Nate to our friends!!
