The Cottage at The Narrows Cabins

Great cottage to stay in near Turkey Run. The living areas were well laid out and the kitchen was nice to cook in. Everything was well labeled and organized throughout. The beds were very comfortable! We appreciated having some games and books around, plus the smart TVs were great for playing music. The swing was a favorite for our kids. We were a bit nervous though with them playing outside as there were often cars coming down the hill on the drive adjacent to the property. There is also what appears to be some old tractor trailers, mobile homes, RVs, etc. on the property across the street that we were not expecting.

We had a wonderful time. Loved everything about Nate’s cottage. We will be staying there again. Roberts family Thanks you.

What a beautiful cottage! It is very well planned out with thoughtful extras like charging stations on each night stand, a snack bin along with tea and coffee, extra blankets, and cards and games. We enjoyed relaxing in the screened in porch and hot tub. The gas fireplaces and TVs were great too. The kitchen is well stocked and we grilled delicious burgers with the grass fed beef from the Turkey Run Grill and Gas. The outside patio and fire pit area were wonderful as well. The location is perfect for Turkey Run State Park. It is located by Sugar Creek and you can walk to the covered bridge and right into Turkey Run. We also made the short drive to Shades State Park. The hosts were terrific and we had a fun family weekend with incredible hiking trails and accommodations!

Really enjoyed our stay- house has a lot of amenities and ways to enjoy the space. We enjoyed the 3 season porch, grilled dinner, played air hockey and spent time in the hot tub. Morning coffee outside on the deck overlooking the meadow watching deer pass by was an added bonus. It’s less than 5 minutes to turkey run so it allowed us to go back and forth frequently with/without dog. There’s also a very small parking lot at the Lusk House which is 2 min away that we used to get access to a couple of the trails. Highly recommend if you’re wanting to enjoy Turkey Run and also relax.

What an honor to be the first guests at the AMAZING airbnb. This home is so thoughtfully prepared and warmly designed with love. We felt very welcomed and comfortable. The home is in an absolutely phenomenal location. Pretty quiet but not total isolation. Right by Turkey Run State Park and easy access to kayaking/trails to hike. It’s fantastic to wake up and look outside to see nature greet you. There are plenty of small games and activities both within the house and outside. It’s hard to be bored and the hot tub is fantastic and easy to operate. The washer and dryer are a great convenience. They are new and in great condition. Eveything was finished quality workmanship and finishings. The beds and furniture were comfortable and the home had every amenity that we needed. It is absolutly perfect for a family vacation! I highly recommend this stay!
